PROFESSIONAL PROFILE OF DANA FOSS
Dana Foss is a graduate of the University of California at Davis,
with a Bachelor's Degree in Physiology. After her marriage and the birth of
her daughter, Lindsay, she moved to Vacaville, in 1979. Lindsay has now
graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor's of Science degree of her own, at the age of
Dana began her real estate career in April of 1984, selling primarily rural residential and agricultural properties, becaming very knowledgeable in the special needs facing
sellers of small and large acreage properties.
In 1987, Dana was instrumental in the formation of a limited partnership,
Orange Tree Investment Associates (OTIA), who purchased 104 acres along
Interstate 80 in Vacaville, known as the Orange Tree Business Park.Upon completion of the purchase of the Orange Tree Business Park, Dana Foss acted in the capacity of one of three General Partners. During her tenure in this position, the Orange Tree Center(50,700 square feet) was conceptualized and built, and the plans were finalized and financing secured
for the Orange Tree Commerce Center(96,000 square feet) across Orange Drive. She was
responsible for the partnership's interaction with the city staff, and was
involved in bringing tenants to the center.
Dana has owned her own real estate office since 1991. She moved the office to downtown Dixon in 1995, the move precipitated by Dana's commitment to the downtown and revitalization efforts in this arena.
Dana and her husband, Edward Foss, continue to serve the Northern Solano County and Yolo County communities in commercial, agricultural and residential sales and leasing,
under their company, R.E.Solutions, Inc.
Dana has remained active in the commercial market in Solano and Yolo Counties. Combining her interest in the environment with her commercial real estate experience, Dana has added development of wetlands mitigation banks to her services, filling a need that she has seen develop over the last decade in the business.
